CNC Tube Cutting at Steel Effects.

Our CNC tube cutter saves hours of fit-up. Saddle cuts, copes, miters, and contour profiles come off the machine ready to weld — no hand grinding, no template chasing. We import your DXF or 3D model and cut from the same geometry your design team built.

What we work with

  • Round pipe and tubing
  • Square and rectangular HSS
  • Channel and angle (within fixture envelope)
  • Carbon steel, stainless, aluminum

    How we run the job

    Step 01

    Import

DXF, STEP, or IGES from your design — geometry, not interpretation.

    Step 02

    Program

Tube path and torch angles calculated for each joint condition.

    Step 03

    Cut

Five-axis plasma cut on rotating chuck — saddles, copes, miters.

    Step 04

    Verify

Trial fit-up against mating part before bundle and ship.

    Quality & traceability

Every job is documented to the same ISO-aligned standard that runs across our floor — heat numbers transferred, procedures qualified, and inspection signed off before parts leave the dock.

  • ISO-aligned quality management system
  • Material test reports (MTRs) supplied with every shipment
  • Procedure qualifications matched to your code requirement
  • First-article and in-process inspection records on file
